Yesterday Felix Baumgartner made history when he successfully completed a supersonic skydive through the earth’s stratosphere, breaking the sound barrier in a thrilling freefall from 24 miles up in space. Wearing a pressurized spacesuit, he jumped from his capsule and reached a speed of 833 mph. A few minutes later, like the consummate professional that he is, he released his parachute and landed on his feet in Roswell, New Mexico. So badass.
